Greens fear lack of ambition in the EU climate law

An expected proposal to enshrine in law an EU target of climate neutrality by 2050 could prove fruitless unless an existing mid-term target is revised upwards, campaigners said, in a crucial week that will also see environment ministers adopt their position on crunch COP26 talks in November.
