ADAS, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join our Boxworth, Cambridge team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid home and office-based position with flexibility in the split.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as a team with our existing ecologists to ensure quality projects are delivered on time to our clients, managing these projects from inception to finalization
  • Providing solid technical advice to clients
  • Writing technical reports including preliminary ecological appraisals, ecological impact assessments, mitigation strategies and biodiversity management plans, habitat regulations assessments and protected species reports
  • Quality review and approval of reports
  • Leading on protected species surveys and training junior staff

Person Specification:

  • Graduate-level education in a relevant subject
  • Associate Level CIEEM membership or above
  • In-depth knowledge of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques
  • Project management and client management experience
  • A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and be commutable to our office
  • Knowledge and experience in Biodiversity Net Gain and Habitat Condition Assessments

Salary and Benefits:

  • Up to £37,000 per annum, depending on experience
