Training on the Red List assessment methodology will be provided by the team if necessary;
• Ensure high-quality project planning and reporting, including preparing service contracts, work plans, budgets, and reports and monitoring teams and experts;
• Ensure the long-term impact of projects through timely and quality delivery of project outputs and outcomes;

• Develop and maintain collaboration with IUCN Members, experts and partners across Europe and represent IUCN at external events as required;
• Support and guide the work of junior team members, including Interns and the Biodiversity Conservation Assistant;

The above job description contains the main duties and responsibilities for this position. However, in a small organisation such as IUCN, staff members are expected to show flexibility in their approach to work and be willing to undertake other tasks reasonably allocated to them but not part of their regular job description. Where any task becomes a regular part of an employee's responsibilities, the job description will be changed in consultation with the employee and the Human Resources Management Group.
